This type of equipment is aimed at the business user, offering a cost effective way to communicate over a 5 mile radius, the units come in various guises such as basic back to back, selective calling that allows you to contact users on a one to one or group basis, right up to fully encrypted models. The majority of users for this type of communications are in retail sites for shop watch schemes, construction industry & the security services due to reliability durability and all round cost effectiveness.
